Psalm 1:2-3

"But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper."

I love these two verses. I want my heart to truly desire meditating on the Lord and His law day and night. I want to be that tree planted by the rivers of water. The Lord brings about fruit in due season. It is fruit that will not wither or die away. To be 100% on target all of the time would be awesome, but of course is not possible in man's fallen condition. I'm glad God prospers His will in us despite our sin.
