30 Days of Obedience - Day 2

Philippians 2:8
"And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross."

Jesus Christ was fully man. He was tempted (Heb. 2:18) & he took on the appearance of man. Yet, he was fully God (Matt. 1:23). He, who was higher than the angels , became a little lower than the angels (Heb. 2:9). He humbled Himself, not the guards who put Him on the cross. He could have ran and resisted. God could have saved Him. Instead, He humbled Himself to the point of death on the cross.
