2 Cor. 7:15
"And his affections are greater for you as he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you received him. Therefore I rejoice that I have confidence in you in everything."
Paul is writing a letter to the Corinths and speaking of Titus' visit. Paul had sent Titus to speak on his behalf. Titus returned with great affections toward Corinth and reported the obedience of Corinth to Paul.
How far does our obedience speak? Obedience is becoming more and more uncommon in this society. As disobedience is on the rise, obedience will stand out more. I speak now of my husband in the workplace. Last July when he transferred jobs, it was because of his character that he got this promotion. Aaron had found favor in his Bloomington job, in order to get this new job. Aaron is also highly respected in his current job. Around a couple weeks ago he received a very high compliment from his boss. His boss back in Bloomington is over the plant here also. Through his current boss, his boss back in Bloomington gave very high compliments about how well he is doing at his new job of helping to run the plant. As his wife, this speaks high volumes to me & gives me a greater respect for Aaron. He is an example of one's obedience speaking high volumes.
