30 Days of Obedience - Day 10

1 Peter 1:14
"as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance;"

When we conform ourselves to the former lusts, we are being disobedient. That's the thing too. Our actions conform to the ways of our former lives. It is not instantaneous, but a series of events. Beware of the areas of sin in your life that you think are no big deal. Over time they will conform you into a disobedient child, walking in the lust of your flesh. We are no longer ignorant, but we know fully well when we are being disobedient. Lord, convict us of our ways. Thank You for Your guidance into Truth, Your Holy Spirit. Amen.
